Steel melts at the threshold of his house. Like the shaan of Dawood Nabi
(AS), this is one of the most renowned miracles associated with Syedi Fakhruddin
Shaheed (AQ) who rests in Taherabad, Galyakot . His qubba is of elaboratley carved
pristine white marble. Anyone who has visited Galyakot has felt the tranquility that
surrounds the qubba, and been moved by the conviction that wishes will be granted here.
Syedi Fakhruddin (AQ) is known as Babjisaab throughout Waghar. Mumineen from far and wide flock here for ziyarat
: some even come on foot from miles away from places like Sagwara and Waswara. Even the local tribals (Bheels and
others) pay their tribute at his threshold.
Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (AQ) was sent by Wail of Hind to Waghar for dawat. At the begining of the year in Moharram,
he narrated the shahadat of Iman Husain (AS) moving one and all to tears and maatam. He collected the wajebaat of mumineen.
On the 27th of Moharram he bid them farewell and started out on his journey . On the outkirts of the village, near a lake,
he was attacked by bandits. Rajput that he was, he fought them valiantly until sunset, when he took a break to pray maghrib
namaaz. The bandits seized the opportunity and killed him.
Syedi Fakhruddin (AQ) is the son of Maulaya Tarmal. As reward for the selfless khidmet of his father and himself, Duat Mutlaqeen
(RA) and Hudud Fodala followed in his progeny. Aqa Maula (TUS) Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS) is a descendant of Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (RA).
Syedi Abdeali Imaduddin (RA) says of him : if he so directed the moon, it would fall at his feet if he so directed a corpse, it would come alive.
Taherabad and the surrounding cities of Waghar are preparing for Aqu Maula’s (TUS) visit for urs
Mubarak of Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (AQ) on the 27th of Moharram and are eagerly awating his arrival.
